Glenn was telling us an interesting story about the Misfits. I asked him about the beginning. If it was just Manny, Jerry, and himself. He stated that Manny and him were already working together. They actually had a female bass player named Diane. The original guitar player was a black guy named James Battle. That would have been interesting to see this line up back in the day. I did ask Glenn about the Wolf's Blood promo photo they used in '83. I wanted to know what he was wearing in that photo. He told us that it was actual animal skin.
It was really weird to have Glenn Danzig & Jerry Only under the same roof. Jerry Only was promoting the new Misfits action figures which will be out in October. We also got to met Pushead. Cool guy. Little did I know I was going to own an original Pushead piece that was done exclusively for The Misfits by the end of the weekend. Glenn pulled the piece out and it was sold. The piece is signed by Pushead on the back in '82 and named it "No Escape From The Dead."
