CD: Misfits - Static Age

Just got the Static Age cd and it's incredible! I went to a few recrods stores here in Los Angeles, but no one had it. So finally I went to Tower Records and there it was.

I knew that I wanted this cd to hear the unreleased track, "In The Doorway." I really didn't know what to expect, but this song blew me away. Glenn's voice on this song is incredible. This is one of the best songs I've heard from The Misfits or from Glenn for that matter. I only wish the song was a bit longer. It clocks in at about a minute and 20 seconds.

The other songs "She" and "Spinal Remains" are great. You can hear the way they were recorded before they altered them to put on the "Legacy" cd. Once the cd ends, the fun begins. Keep listening to the cd after the last song and you can hear studio outakes from the recording session that took place in January and February of 1978. I was not expecting this at all. You can hear Glenn and Jerry talking. It's fuckin awesome. Something MTV will never grasp.

Go pick this up as soon as possible. Also look for the limited edition colored vinyl....FANGS
